Hey all.  I’m happy to announce that I am starting a new chapter in my life.  Unfortunately, this new step does not include music.  I’m moving to Virginia in December and will be taking a job with my family.  I feel it is the right time to move on and I’m excited to do so.  I want to thank all of you for your support over the years.  It was been a real blast and has given me memories that not many people will ever have.  I also want to thank the Atlanta musicians for their help and influences over these past 10 years.

Come celebrate Halloween with Pete Whitfield Band at Atkins Park Tavern in Smyrna, Georgia.  There will be a costume contest, prizes, and give-a-ways.  Best of all, the show is FREE!  The party starts at 9pm.  See you there.

As you may know, Pete has been playing acoustic shows every other Wednesday at Wild Wing Cafe in Alpharetta, GA since March.  Well, sadly it’s coming to an end.  Come out to Wild Wing Cafe in Alpharetta, Georgia this coming week for Pete’s final acoustic Wednesday, October 7.  The show is 7pm till 10:30pm.

Tonight’s show scheduled to be at Dixie Tavern in Marietta, Georgia has been postponed till tomorrow night, Sept. 30th.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  See you tomorrow.  Pete starts at 9pm!

PWB will be putting on a show at the 2nd Annual The River UMC Family Festival in Sharon Springs Park in Cumming, GA this Sunday, September 27.  This event is to raise money for wheelchair-accessible swings for playgrounds.  The goal is to raise enough money for 10 swings, which range in price from $450 - $5,500 depending on size and shape.  Gates open at 3pm (PWB takes the stage at 5pm) and, unlike most PWB shows, there will be plenty of family oriented stuff going on so bring the kids!

PWB will be playing for the first time on Saturday, September 19th at Dixie Tavern in Marietta, Georgia.  Dixie Tavern is where the award-winning Zac Brown Band cut their teeth.  The band needs to draw a crowd so we hope to see you there!

Come kick off your Labor Day Weekend with Pete and the guys on Friday, September 4th at Wild Wing Cafe in Alpharetta, Georgia.  This show is free and the guys take the stage at 9:30pm.

PWB along with Wild Wing Cafe will be hosting a CD Re-Release Party on Saturday, July 11th in Alpharetta, Georgia.  The band’s original 5 song EP is being re-released with two brand new songs.  Opening the show will be Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Levi Lowrey who will also be playing the fiddle all night with PWB.  Not only is Lowrey the fiddle player for other Atlanta performer Sonia Leigh, but he is also signed to Southern Ground Records and tours our nation opening for Zac Brown Band.  Once again, the show will be at Wild Wing Cafe on Windward Pkwy in Alpharetta, Georgia on Saturday, July 11th.  Levi Lowrey takes the stage at 9:30pm followed promptly by Pete Whitfield Band at 10pm.
